Web Tracking
Agents and clients demand instant access to critical shipment status and documentation. Access to information is key to lowering costs and delivering high levels of customer service. When branded with your company logo and welcome message and added to your Web site, IES Web Tracking allows you to offer your customers a new service seamlessly without an expensive integration project. Deflect inbound shipment status questions to the Web where authorized parties can find the shipment, container, AES Internal Transaction Numbers, ABI part numbers or warehouse commodities, view and print related shipment documents, update status information, view proof of delivery, enter bookings, upload related shipment documentation and request a pick-up or a quote via any internet connection. With a single click, powerful search features and smart organization help users answer their questions instantly. Search criteria, sort and layout options give each user flexible data presentation and a quick drill down to the shipment, container or commodity detail. Integrated across the suite of IES modules, tracking starts once a purchase order is released, a bill of lading or air waybill is created, or an import shipment is entered. In-transit status is obtained by direct EDI communication with all major portals, steamship lines and air carriers to complete an end-to-end view. IES Web Tracking works in conjunction with the IES Agent Update and Event Manager software modules. Status information updated by the IES software user and is immediately transferred to IES Web Tracking. Automate e-mail notification to desired shipment parties upon the shipment status changes to proactively manage delivery expectations. Built-in reports provide management with a listing of all files meeting desired creation, arrival, requested or closing date range. Inquire about this software product. Go!
