IES' AES module is fully integrated with IES' export modules automating the process of complying with US Customs reporting requirements. AES data is validated through user input in the standard shipment processing program. Then, AES data is automatically sent to Customs via a high speed encrypted MQ interface. Responses are automatically received in the export modules.

With IES AES Denied Party Screening during the AES filing process, all government watch lists are automatically compared with the parties in your export shipment. Your compliance manager will be automatically notified by the system, when a shipment party closely matches a denied party.

IES' integrated EDI module allows shipment data to seamlessly pass bi-directionally between you and your agents, carriers, customers or any other trading partners using standardized messaging formats. EDI transmissions significantly reduce errors and the time spent manually keying information into the system yielding significant productivity increases.

IES' Extensible Markup Language interface has started to replace EDI in many companies and can be used in the same manner as EDI to seamlessly pass data bi-directionally between you and your agents, carriers, customers or any other trading partners using standardized messaging formats. XML transmissions like EDI transmissions significantly reduce errors and typing time yielding significant productivity increases.

IES' simple Flat File interface allows uni-directional data transmission between you and your agents, carriers, customers or any other trading partners using non-standardized messaging formats. Time is reduced manually keying information into the system. IES' Flat File interface providing a good stepping stone to a complete XML or EDI interface.

IES offers two disaster recovery solutions.

Option One - Shared Recovery
IES will set-up enough hardware, software and bandwidth to support up to 250 simultaneous users in need of disaster recovery on a first come first served basis with the guarantee that every company requiring access will have at least 5 simultaneous connections available. You will receive full access to the IES system hosted on Citrix servers with the most recent back-up of your data available. Regardless of requiring disaster recovery IES will remotely back-up your data each evening to our secure facility.

Option Two - Dedicated Recovery
For those requiring dedicated backup IES will set-up dedicated servers and Citrix licenses with the most recent back-up of your data available.
